Gwenevere "Gwen" Vergil is a member of the Venatori. She is almost never seen without her partner, Caiden Voros, and she is known for her both her understanding of others and her unfaltering determination to fulfill her duty.

Biography

Gwen led a relatively simple childhood, or so she has led everyone to believe. Truth be told, she tells little about herself, other than the fact that she was born in Piera and was always brought up to believe that the Venatori represent one of the noblest Imperial orders. Joining the Venatori at a rather young age, she eventually became partners and close friends with Caiden Voros.

Description

Shapely and athletic, Gwen is a strikingly beautiful woman with green eyes, soft features, and long, auburn hair she usually wears in a ponytail. She bears a few scars from her hunts, but they do little to mar her appearance.

Armor and Weapons

Gwen uses gear same as do most Venatori: she wears a chain shirt made of deepsilver and lightweight leather armor. She carries a steel broadsword, a silver dagger, a bow, and she wears a quiver of arrows - steel and silver - on her back. She also carries several potions.

Personality

Although unfalteringly loyal to the Venator code, Gwen is not overly serious unless the situation calls for it. She often jokes around, frequently poking fun at those she feels need to lighten up or else are close friends and can take some light ribbing. Gwen is generally conversational, with a friendly attitude, but she holds great respect for the Venatori and will tolerate no insults to her order.

Appearances

Gwen first appeared in the short story Hunted, which will be featured in the upcoming Tales of Wulfgard: Volume I. She will also feature in other future stories, including Waking the Dragon, another short story.
