Kitsune

Living in the mysterious Far East, these fox shapechangers are worshiped by the locals as spiritual beings. Because of this, the Kitsune were not cursed like other Shifters, and they still retain full control over their shapeshifting powers. As such, they are not to be confused with their Western relatives, the fox-folk. Rumor has it that they also bear powers over the element of Air, although a learned individual may safely assume that this is only the case for those born with the Gift, as it is for all other creatures. As the stories tell us, they are tricksters and are seldom seen by men. However, in the West, similar creatures exist as fox beastfolk, which do not bear any shapeshifting powers.
