Crocotta

The crocotta (plural crocottae) is a chimeran monster that lives in the Wastes, particularly around the region that was once Sinkarya. These monsters vary in size. Several are as large as horses. They resemble great cats but also canines, bearing features of lions, tigers, hyenas, and many other creatures, even donkeys and stags. They have a dog-like head, with a mouth that stretches from ear to ear and ridges of bone where its teeth should be. They are said to be extremely fast, and perhaps their most frightening feature is their uncanny ability to imitate human voice.
