Red School

The Red School is a name for an ancient Alfar school of magic. The original Red School was started millennia ago by the Ljosalfar, but when its magi began dabbling in dark magics that disrupted the natural order of the land and offended the gods, the Ljosalfar disbanded the school. Many former members of the school then left the city with a group of outcast Elves that would later become the Svartalfar. Since then, most Svartalfar civilizations have called their magic schools the Red School. Perhaps the newest Red School was opened by the Red Elves in Tor Vala, the first time Light Elves have used the name in thousands of years.
