Apophis, Prince of Evil and the Demon Lord of Malice, was once a god, but was cast from power by the Kemheti gods under the leadership of Ra. Now the snake lord seethes in the Underworld, plotting vengeance as he tries to regain his lost power. He usually takes the appearance of an enormous, winged king cobra with the arms and torso of a man, his scaly skin covered in horns and strange cryptic patterns.
