Blemmyes, also simply called headless men, are strange beings thought to dwell in The Wastes, possibly created by the magic of the Mage Wars of Sinkarya. Very few who claim to see them live to tell the tale, leaving them shrouded in mystery.
Appearance
Blemmyes are said to have no heads at all: where a neck and head should be between their shoulders is only a flat plain. A blemmyes has his face on his chest, often said to have eyes set in their shoulders or on their pectorals. They are not known to wear an excess of clothing other than loincloths, though they are supposedly intelligent enough to use weapons.
