Jagged Edge

The Jagged Edge is the most common name for the immense mountain range at the heart of Midgard, the realm of mortals. As wide as a nation and immeasurably tall, they are called the Edge because they form an impassable barrier, an edge of the known world, separating East and West. They are the most dangerous part of Midgard not only due to their height and frozen, rocky terrain, but also because the most dangerous creatures of Midgard call them home. Dragons live in caves there, and giants delve great warrens where they breed the chaos races. It is no place for mortal men.
