The term Chimerans refers to creatures that appear to be a combination of two or more different animals. Some chimerans are combinations of two animals and a human, but they are not considered beastfolk. Unlike beastfolk and other shifter-kin, chimerans are thought to be the result of magical experimentation and anomalies, not descendants of the Shifters.
