Biography
Growing up in the harsh deserts of the South, primarily in Kemhet, Djedar has not led an easy life. How or when he received his channeler tattoos remains unknown except to very few, and what exactly his goals are remain even more mysterious. Currently, he has traveled very far north, all the way to Illikon and Rimegard.
Personality
Though he can certainly be charming when the occasion calls for it, Djedar is generally serious and attentive, always on alert for potential threats and trying to get a read on everyone in a room. Highly observant and generally a bit stoic, Djedar says little about himself - or anything at all - and allows actions to speak louder than words, save for perhaps a few remarks, some irreverent. He is extremely protective of those he cares about and has proven himself on many occasions to be quite a formidable warrior and expert horseman, possessing a wide range of skills... most of which relate to espionage and battle. He is not known to hesitate when it comes to killing those he believes worthy of death, leaving their judgment to Anubis. Ultimately, however, Djedar is a loner, never letting anyone get too close or trusting someone to do something he feels he should do himself.
Appearances
Djedar is a major character in The Dying of the Light, has appeared in Into the North, and he will be a major character in the upcoming story focusing on the Illikon mage cult, as well as in The Prophecy of the Six.
