Enidros

The enidros (plural enidroi) is a frightening, snake-like monster native to the South, particularly Kemhet, around the River Yter. They are somewhat snake-like creatures - thought to be some sort of chimeran - that kill their prey from the inside out. Their favored prey is crocodiles; when an enidros finds a crocodile sleeping with its mouth open, the creature will roll itself in mud to become slick and enter the crocodile's mouth. Once it is swallowed by the crocodile, the enidros eats the crocodile from the inside out and then chews its way out of the crocodile's belly.
