Durinn ("the Sleeper") was the second dwarf created by the Aesir from the earth - the flesh of Ymir. The current-day dwarves revere him as a god. They say he slumbers beneath the earth, and one day - perhaps at Ragnarok - he will awaken to lead his people once again.
