Minion is a human from the Far East who serves as the personal bodyguard and enforcer of Lord Plutarch.
Biography
Minion stays very tight-lipped about his past, and his master Plutarch seems to respect his decision and not talk about his origins either. All that is known is that he is from the Far East.
At some point, during his travels to the East in search of a magical artifact, Septimus Plutarch did a great favor to Minion's family. In return, Minion swore a debt of honor to the mage. To seal the deal, Plutarch inscribed a tattoo upon the back of Minion's head. Despite this, the two men seem to trust and respect one another.
Personality
Minion has little of what one might call a personality. Stoic to a fault, he says precious little and seldom acts of his own accord, usually only following his master's commands. Highly disciplined and well-trained, his combat skills are almost beyond compare, especially since most of his enemies are utterly unfamiliar with his exotic style of fighting. When not fighting or guarding Plutarch, he spends most of his time alone in quiet meditation.
Appearances
Minion appears in Into the North.
