The House of Skiera was born when General Elius Skiera expanded the Achaean Empire into Northrim, carving out enough territory to found the city of Rimegard on the River Rime. The Emperor then changed the General's title to King and gave him rule over his new Kingdom of Northrim, to govern it and protect it with his life. He took as the sigil of his house a black eagle on a field of gold.
The current head of the House is King Eltan Skiera of Rimegard. He has two children by his first wife Adela: Princess Adrianya (eldest) and Prince Anton. After Adela's death, Eltan took a new wife: Olivia Skiera. They are still expecting their first child.
