Shade was an orphan boy living on the streets of the [[Iron Ring]] in [[Coronaria]]. Best friends with [[Whisper]], the two of them were abducted and trained by the [[Silent Messengers]] in [[The Box]] in [[1116 AI]]. After Whisper revealed the Box's whereabouts to the [[First Legion]], resulting in the base's destruction, the Assassins left the city. This upset Shade, who had grown fond of the Messengers' way of life. He left the city, hoping to find them and continue his training to join their ranks for good. His present whereabouts are unknown.
