After spending many years only watching the affairs of [[Men]], he departed his clan to live among the Kemheti people, despite some misgivings with doing so, but - unusual for a dwarf - he was tired of living exclusively among his own clan. He spent much time as a guard of various noble households until he worked his way up to serving the family of the Pharaoh. It was then that his closest clan-brother Kukrum found him and joined him, much to Buharum's joy. Eventually, Buharum joined the Medjay along with Kukrum, where they remain to this day.
